PORSCHE BOXSTER auto 2.7ltr 2002 lapis blue
26/01/24 New M-Tec brakes, front and rear, discs and pads (fitted). New Febi hoses (not fitted).
28/01/24 Replaced the ignition switch. It was in the on position when I connected it to the barrel, unbeknown to me. This perplexed me somewhat until I decided to turn the slot in the new switch. Now all seems to be working; headlights, wipers, heater/air-con. Also fitted new German wiper blades.
Still to fix, indicator stalk (done) and fuel sender.
29/01/24 Delivered to garage for the service.
01/02/24 New auto-trans sump tray ordered, £117 delivered. During the service the tray bolts
were found to have rusted so badly, they need drilling out, forcing the tray replacement.
Oil/air separator replaced.
02/02/23 Retrofit projectors fitted to the litronic headlights.
Fuses A9 and A10 need to be 15A each
16/02/2024 Returned from the garage. The guys did a sterling job and I feel confident giving it a spank.
17/02/2024 Wheels/ tyres, lights front and rear fitted. I prefer to originals.
September 2024 New battery fitted
03 Dec 2024 MOT done
05 Dec 2024 – All four suspension struts refurbed with new parts, mostly Bilstein, incl. KYB springs and drop links, all but the shocks.
July 2025 Bumper off, radiators cleaned
